I don't know if it's just the corny horror flick music in the background, the lack of sincere fright in the narraotor's voice as the remote is moving, the fact that the remote moved conveniently close to the introduction provided by the narrator, the lack of a reference shot of the hallway that might reveal a source of matrixing for the girl, or the fact that I"m just naturally skeptical, but I don't buy this at all.

I bet we could recreate the movement of the remote by putting a magnet in the battery compartment and having somone move a corresponding magnet underneath the table. I think that there is definitely something there in the hallway, but whether it is something that "should" be there but is just being matrixed by our minds or whether it is a little girl's dress fraudulently hung in a dark hallway, I can't say. I guess if I knew these people and knew that they were reputable and honest, then I would be amazed by this video. If Brian had shot this video, I wouldn't even have to question it. But something just feels shady about this video to me.

Also, it could be the fact that the guy that put this video on Youtube, Markapsalon, has numerous other videos on Youtube, many of which revolve around video editing.

Doesn't prove it's not a ghost, it's just interesting.

I agree with what Jason said.  I too was thinking about the magnet under the table.

I was thinking that the little girl was under the table with a magnet.

Hokey. Why did the remote only move in one direction? It would have been more convincing if the remote moved across the table, then hovered in mid air, then turned the TV on and flipped through the channels.  ;D

Not buying it.  I don't believe the coincidence of him just happening to pan right and then left real fast all of a sudden and capture the token "ghost girl" in both frames.  Also, there are at least two or three YouTube videos out there with the "little girl with long brown hair in the white ankle length dress" standing in a corner or doorway or wherever.  I have seen the same little ghost girl in I don't know how many videos in different homes with different video camera narrators.  I just watched one a couple nights ago.  Same ghost girl.

Also, you can buy magnets that are smaller than a dime at the swap meet on Sports Arena.  They also sell them with entertainment centers so you don't have handles on the outside.  They're small but strong enough that you have to slide them apart rather than pull them apart.  Through a table......easy.

PPI Tracy

Gee.....reminds me of someone I know who faked evidence to become a member of TAPS....and about the same scenario also.  Deja Vu.

We should recreate this with magnets and a remote control ourselves. Then create a video and post it on the website as part of a "explaining" section. That would be really cool to have a part of the website where we fake paranormal events and then show everyone how we did it. It would fall under our mandate to "educate."

Now I understand why ghosts are associated with sheets: ghost photos often have laundry in them.
