Since March of 1909 stories of a winged beast that swooped down from the sky to steal chickens and children from unsuspecting townsfolk have been told in Frederick County, Maryland. It is said that President Theodore Roosevelt even considered postponing an African Safari to hunt the mysterious beast. Now enter Patrick Boyton with a book on the subject entitled Snallygaster: The Lost Legend of Frederick County.
