Hey Guys,
On September 11, 2008 will mark the seventh year anniversary of that horrible day.
My question is do you think that any of the places that were are tied to 9-11 ( ground zero NY, the Pentagon and the site in Philadelphia)
have any paranormal activity? Are there any Ghosts?

Tim
Sounds interesting...Go on.

PPI Tracy

Oh my gosh, absolutely.  I don't think you can have so much devastation and loss of life at a location and NOT have paranormal activity.  Not only did you have most of the people who worked in the WTC buildings, there were those people in both planes, police and fire fighters who lost their lives.  Approx 3000 people died at that location.  I cannot imagine there NOT being paranormal activity.  (at all the locations where people died that day)

Good question, Tim.  Very good question and it really makes one ponder just what goes on there and the amount of activity that will go on in the new buildings that go up and on that very land.

PPI Tim

Have you heard or read about any activiity at those sites?
I have not.
nor have I heard of any strange things going on at those sites.
Sounds interesting...Go on.

I haven't heard anything about paranormal activity at those sites either.
I seriously pray that its because evry life lost was able to cross over. They all went through enough...
Ugh* too sad a topic. I'm going to go cry...

Oh, but Im sure there are at least some emotional imprints. =(

you remember how in the one episode of GHI last week, they saw something in the window above the main entrance of a large building and found there is no floor to that section so it was free floating, so.. I wonder if there could be some ghostly free floaters up, let's say at the higher levels of the floors where the Towers once stood and imprinted up there rather than on ground level. I know,  this is out from left field :)
Heaven won't take me and hell's afraid I'll take over.

PPI Tim

A cool question.
I wonder if any planes or helicopters get any strange reading from thier instruments when flying over ground zero?
Sounds interesting...Go on.

It's really not out of left field.  Actually, it seems right on.  Think about it...where do ghosts usually hang out?  Places they know.  As far as I know, they are not bound by time or space and certainly not floors...or lack thereof.  Why wouldn't they hang out where they used to be?  If it is a residual, it would reoccur at the same place every time.  If that was a room that used to exist right where that window is, it would stand to reason that it would return to that spot.

I've not had a lot of sleep. Hopefully my feeble attempt at making sense is .....well...making sense.   :-\

I have looked any strange events to 9-11 but only found things that happened before and not after.
Things like two people who were best friends both were killed in 9-11 because each one was a plane that hit the towers
Stuff like that.

Wow. Now that is what I call an amazing coincidence.

Kelly P., one of my best friends from high school moved to Manhattan in the spring of 2000.  Kelly was a graphic artist and took a job at a company that was located at the World Trade Center.  On the morning of September 11th, 2001, hers was the second building to be hit.  When I saw the plane fly into the building, I knew her company was above the impact point so she was trapped and there was no way she could have made it out.  I spoke with her just two days before hand.  She told me she was supposed to go visit her mom the following Saturday but didn't know if she'd make it because she just wasn't feeling well.  Then, two days later, I, along with the rest of the country, watched in horror as September 11th unfolded for us on national television.  I was devastated for our country and because I knew that I had witnessed one of my best friends during her last moments and her tragic death.

Four days later, at 4:30 in the morning, my phone rang.  It was Kelly's mom, Jennifer. She has known me since I was 16 and she had always been like my second mom. I was prepared for a very painful conversation, and then she asked me to hold on.  The next voice I heard was Kelly.  She hadn't gone into work on 9/11. She had called in sick.   It is so amazing how life works.  Ever since then, I have looked at the "curve balls" that life throws us differently than I used to.  When I get stuck in traffic, I think that maybe there is an accident that is going to happen and my guardian angel is keeping me from getting involved in it.  When I get sick, yeah...I don't like it, but maybe it is God's way of slowing me down when I need rest.  Having the flu saved my friend's life.   Amazing.  Truly amazing.  But because of that, Kelly now has a 6 year old.  The reason she didn't go into work is that she was having morning sickness and didn't realize yet what it was.  She was 6 weeks pregnant.  So, I guess the flu saved two lives, not just one.

That is a cool story. Talk about a feeling of relief.
I will keep an eye out for stories about ground zero during the reconstruction of the sites.

I've heard a few other stories just like this.  I wish I could find where I located them  One woman woke up that morning and just knew that she couldn't go to work.  Something just forced her to call in sick, and she swears that it was something on the other side telling her that.

Your right, that is 2 lives saved.

I too have wondered if there is any activity there.  My daughter, granddaughter and I visited the site last year.  It was a gaping hole with a lot of trucks clearing the area.  What I found amazing was a 200-year old church where Benjamin Franklin used to worship just right behind the site was not touched by the event.

I received an e-mail a few months ago saying there was a new ship called the New York.  It is supposedly built from the wreckage of the Twin Towers.  Does anyone know about this?  Is it true?  If so, I would think there would be a lot of energy contained in that metal and a lot of activity would ensue.

PPI Tim

To answer your question, yes there is a ship called USS New York.
Here is the link to the article.

From what I read, there are three ships that have been named to honor 9-11
One for each site.

Although this story is true, the ship that is pictured on the site is not the USS New York.  It is the (now decommissioned) USS San Antonio.

Thank you, Tim.  That was about what I received in e-mail.  It will  be interesting to follow the USS New York 's progress and where she goes for duty.
