My heart goes out to everyone who has been affected by this terrible firestorm. I sincerely hope they catch to people who started these fires and bring them to justice.

We got terrible news last night about our family members who have been missing for two days. They lived in the community of Kinglake, in the Kinglake National Forest which was utterly devastated. They were found in the burned out remains of their home. The Australian posted this very touching article about them tonight and thought I would share it with you all:

Here's a video that shows the scope of the devastation:

Brian,
I know we spoke yesterday at length, but again I wanted to extend my sincere sympathies to you and your family.  This just breaks my heart to hear this devastating news. You have been through so much and I can speak for Cary as well as myself when I say that our thoughts and prayers go out to you. You are a divine friend and wonderful colleague. Whatever you need, we are here for you. Remember that you have people in your life that care deeply and are here to support you.

PPI Brian

Thanks, Tracy. I really appreciate your thoughts and prayers. You have no idea how much that means to me.

Darren from GRI in based in Melbourne Australia posted this video on the TFM site. It was very difficult to watch, but it shows how the town of Kinglake was totally destroyed by the fire:

I'm so sorry for your family's losses Brian. My heart drops when I see news like this and see it hits close to home and people I'm acquainted with.  Thank you for sharing and express my heartfelt condolences to you and your family as well as everyone that is affected by the devastation of the fires in Oz.
Heaven won't take me and hell's afraid I'll take over.

Hi Johnny,

Thank you. Your condolences mean a lot to us at this very sad time. It's a terrible tragedy that has affected so many people, and a terrible reminder of the hazards associated with living in such a beautiful place.

Brian,

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. For some reason I missed the posts on this thread and had no idea how close to him it was for you. You always take this stuff on the chin and never seem to miss a beat. Sometimes I think we take for granted all the stuff you've been through considering how well you always deal with it. Seriously, let us know if there is anything we can do to help.
