It's there. You just cant see it. The library must block youtube on their computers. I can see it on my phone and my kindle fire too.

Yes, they are apparently blocking the youtube content. I don't know why, unless your IT folx percieve streaming video on an SMF forum as a security risk. Have you tried it on your laptop at home?

Hmm, that's strange. When I logged on to your wi-fi network at the library I could see the embedded Youtube videos on the PPI Forums on my personal laptop computer. I'm guessing that it has something to do with the browser settings for the public computers at your library. Something about youtube videos and the Simple Machine Forums. But you can you see the ebmedded Youtube files on your personal computer at home, can't you?

Hi Dave,

Thanks for verifying that the youtube videos work on your end. I'm at a loss to explain Tim's inability to see the videos on the public library computers. All I can do is speculate that it must be related to the browser settings. SMF handles embedded youtube files as flash video scripts, so perhaps that has something to do with it.
