The Goat Woman

For the past year, a horn resembling a goat's has been growing on the forehead of Chinese grandmother, age 101. It is now 2.4 inches in length. It appears to be a cutaneous horn, which are made up of compacted keratin, the same protein that's in our hair and nails, and forms horns, wool, and feathers in animals. Another horn appears to be emerging from the other side of her forehead.

I'm intrigued by this article, because like the Tree Man, this woman is exhibiting a strange physical deformity that probably inspired our traditional conceptions of "devils" and "monsters". Of course, that depends on the authenticity of the article. It could be nothing more than a load of crap.

Brian...that was the first thing that came to my mind.  Karl's comment was the second.  Poor thing.....

Then again!  She may like it!  She may let her grandkids swing off of it, and she may even be the Grand Marshall of the next holiday parade over there!
