Yeah, I know.  I know.  The truth.....it can be painful.   ;)

MichaelF (FPIE)

Awww why's it got to be like that......

It's nothing but a banner and a self proclaimed title :)

Oh yeah....it still has pacificparanormal.org instead of .com

MichaelF (FPIE)

Having some issues getting your banner to show up on my site, not sure what is up.  Proud to make you guys the first on my page, just don't go stealing all the good cases!

I'm going to be making a new banner tonight. This one has ".org" and some asshole is sitting in his dungeon cracking up about it because he's the new owner of the domain, AND a thief who stole all my graphics for it.

MichaelF (FPIE)

Just out of curiosity, how did you lose the domain?  I want to make sure the same thing doesn't happen to me.

Yahoo!

Hopefully the person who stole the site will soon get bored of it and discard it.  Nothing he/she can really do with it anyway as all the links are basically empty......I think. :-\

PPI Tim

The person who stole the website looks to be of Eastern Europe origin. There are trying to sell cars and the ad is written so poorly.
All it is missing is a sign that says

"BORAT'S AUTOMOBILES"
YOU BUY A CAR FROM US, AND WE HAVE SEXY TIME!
IT'S NICE! ;D
Sounds interesting...Go on.

MichaelF (FPIE)

I would bet money that somebody stole the domain to use in phishing and pharming attempts.  They send people e-mails trying to act like a legitimate loan or car place, give some links, which take you to that site, and they attempt to get information from you.  It's a pretty crappy attempt, because anybody with half a brain can see the pacificparanormal URL.

That's part of the problem...so many people on the 'net don't have half a brain!
