Astronomers with the European Southern Observatory say they've found a Jupiter-sized planet orbiting a dying star some 2,200 light-years from Earth. The planet, named HIP 13044b, is the first planet astronomers have detected in the Milky Way that likely was born in another galaxy.

Considering the fact that light travels approx 5.88 trillion miles in one year, I'd say that would be one hell of a commute.
