Anyone catch the (ahem) "mid-season finale" of Battlestar Galactica?  Any thoughts?
If you want to end your misery, start enjoying it, because there's nothing the universe begrudges more than our enjoyment.

My first thought was obviously WTF???  ???

Great cliff hanger for the remainder of the season. I really didn't expect that, however, in keeping with the dark theme of this series, there was no other alternative.

I'm kind of glad.  I was wondering how they were goin to work it out since it looked like they may find Earth soon.

Great episode, but what is up with them finding Earth and it being deserted? I guess we'll find out?

I don't think it was actually deserted, I think it looked more like it had been destroyed in a war.

Looked like the city where they landed had been nuked a very long time ago. The soil was obviously still radioactive.

Yep, I'm pretty sure you heard a Geiger counter clicking away.

I bet that the "final five" killed Earth a while ago, afterall they knew where it was.  Bet that puts some strain on the alliance lol.

wow....i need to get out more

my theory is that Earth that they came upon is really where things began rather than where things end. This episode seemed somewhat similar to the Robotech series the final book, End of the Circle, seems somewhat similar to the BSG and Cylons predictament. Somehow I think everyone, humans and cylons, have common bonds that they haven't realized yet. Possibly the same roots and ancestry but always bathed in conflict.

I don't watch this how very much, but it seems to me as if they found earth, and they are going to meet these guys....

I think that's why they nuked Earth.  :)

What I really wonder is how Dave found that......

Dave that was disturbingly awesome! I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. I have a hard time believing anyone would be a match for the Tumblers.

i'm just sitting here laughing in wonderment. Thanks Dave.

Dave make it stop!  The good news is, I now have something to offer the Pentagon to replace waterboarding.....
