This is kind of old, but presents the topic of EVP in a positive light:

Neat clip. Im really looking forward in trying this for myself. Im shopping around for an easy to use and reasonably priced audio recorder. Any recommendations?

Why, yes I do.  ;D

The Olympus digital voice recorders with USB ports are widely used. They are affordable, durable, offer great sound quality with their built-in microphones, and the USB download feature allows you to quickly transfer your files to a computer. They run about $50 or $60. You will also need some audio editing software. If you're on a budget, Audacity is a free download.

Check out our Resources link for more "How To Record EVP" helpful hints.

Thanks fot the recommendation! I purchased one and I love it... =)
I took it out to a park last night that used to be a cemetary back in the day.
There was an article in citys news paper a few years back exclaiming that the park was reported to have a few spirits lurking about...
Supposedly all the bodys and grave stones were moved to another cemetary years and years ago, but theres lots of
speculation that some bodies had been left behind and are still there. :( Kind of sad , huh.
Anywhoo - I checked it out and caught nothing..
It was fun trying out my new toy though! Thanks again for the tips! =)

Which park was this? We went to a park like that...there are still some headstones, but they are towards the back of the park. I wonder if this is the same park.

PPI Glenn

ya, I'd be willing to bet that's the same place.  Wasn't it called Pioneer Park or something like that?  I think it was in Mission Hills.

Yes, I believe she's talking about Pioneer Park (aka Calvary Cemetery) on Washington Street.

Here is a website about the history of this old cemetery:

Park I visited is in Los Angeles County.  :)
