Parascience.org recently conducted a double blind test to determine if people exposed to infrasound would report sensations similar to those who experience paranormal activity. Here's a link to their experiment:

Does anyone know of any similar experiments using ultrasound or high EMF pollution? If so, post them here so we can discuss them!

Thanks

Yes, quite interesting.   So if we were to add to the experiment equipment capable canceling out the added infrasound, then we would expect to see those numbers decrease, right?  And I wonder what would happen if simple white noise (or pink, or brown, eh... you get the picture!) was added.

This group has some excellent experiments & articles.  Here's another on EMFs...

Yes, I believe they would cancel each other out. I'm not sure what the effect white noise would have on the added infrasound... probably wouldn't have any noticeable effect. But it sure was an interesting experiment, wasn't it? I wonder if we should consider including infrasound and ultrasound sources to our baseline environmental measurements?

That's a very cool report. The Para Science website is an excellent resource, and they obviously have the money to conduct some interesting experiments.

Here's one of their articles about the selection and use of EMF meters in paranormal investigations:
