As a former snake owner (2 corn snakes and 1 ball python), it's TOTALLY irresponsible to buy a snake (or any pet for that matter) without first researching it's species...how long will it live, how large will it get, what will I feed it, do I have the equipment to safely house and handle the animal, etc.  It kills me when I go into pet stores and see people buying pets on impulse.

The video is no longer posted.  What kind of snake was it?  I used to have a corn snake and a red tail.  I got them when they were really small and had both for a while.
