Thinking differently

I've been noticing, especially over the last week or so, that my thinking parameters have changed.  From reading more about paranormal investigation, participating in the forums, learning about equipment, and generally tapping into my child-like wonder about the world around me, the way I think about everyday things has changed.

For example, today at lunch I was talking with a coworker and she was telling me about how her dog (a little Pomeranian puffball) can not seem to cool off in the summertime, even with the air conditioning on.  She has to lay a wet towel down on the floor for the dog to lay on, and that seems to help the dog get comfortable.

The first thing that popped into my head was, "I wonder what the dog would look like when viewed with a thermal camera."

That's definitely something that I would not have wondered about before learning about paranormal investigating.   ;D

An idea, like a ghost, must be spoken to a little before it will explain itself!

Yes, be careful of investigator mode when I work. You will be taking lunch in the dark and having EVP's sessions.
Sounds interesting...Go on.

Not a bad way to spend lunch.  I know of a few dark recesses in the building where I could EVP and PB&J simultaneously.
