Hi All,

I finally when threw the photos i took on our Queen Mary trip. On this page you find photos with green anomalies. anyone care to take a guess at what they are. I have my ideas but i want to wait and see what you guys come up whit. Keep in mind all of these photos i used a Cannon 1.8 f-stop 50mm lens and i did not use a flash. These shots had long exposure times. From 2 sec to 10 sec.

Hmmm.  Well, I was at first going to say they're reflections from the green tiles, but they show up in photos taken elsewhere, and they're never the same twice.  Is it possible that someone within proximity to each photo was wearing an emerald crystal--something that would have caught the flash and projected a green glint?  (I'll start inspecting the guests' accessories in your pictures.)

What is the young woman holding in Stairs1.jpg?  Any thoughts?

That was the toy they were triing to get Jackie to play with. The pic. of (I like to call Daves butt) No one was behind Britt. And upstairs in the meeting room there was noone there.

and you said that you were not using flash. When I heard that you were not using a flash...I thought maybe it was somebody else's pre-flash light that you were catching....but then you said that in some shots nobody was behind you guys. You also said that you only got the green thing on pics that were out of focus. This could mean that it's one of two things (in my head at least)

1) That's a true orb that is taking some energy juices from your camera and making the camera fail on focus. (I shrug with confusion)

2) Your camera has a technical glitch in it.

I think this is just because of shutter speed, but what do you think it is?

PPI Karl

This closeup on Dave's butt  :o is definitely a point of refracted light.  Notice the separation of colors and the blue hue at about 7 o clock to the center of the point?  So, my guess is that it's related to a lens, either in the camera or in the glasses someone is wearing.  In fact, these irridescent blue and green colors are similar to the non-glare sheen you sometimes find on the lenses of eyeglasses, aren't they?  Anyway, it's just a thought to put out there.

If you examine the EXIF data attached to the original photo you can extract all kinds of information, including the shutter speed

Considering the fact that a slow shutter speed was used and there are so many reflective services, I would say they are artifacts created by the lenses.

We know that's nothing. Just a guy walking down the stairs. The only thing we are looking at are the green spots. I have gone threw all our photos and dismissed and debunked anything that's human form due to the long exposure time.

The post above with my name on it was from Holly, she forgot to change logins.

My first thought was the cameras range finder for focusing. But this camera does not have that. Then I thought it could be someone else?s, but the shot on the stairs and the shot of the back side of Dave there was no one behind me. All of these photos are from the pool area. So I don?t know there just strange

Also, I have tried to recreate this at home. I have taken 25 or 30 picks of various areas in my house and out side with out using the flash and I can not pick anything up that is green.

I will bring the camera to next Thursday meeting, maybe I am missing something and one of you can figure it out.

PPI Glenn

yes, but remember the area you were shooting in was made of up highly reflective tiles.

These images are very interesting.

My first impression is that the green blobs are caused by a laser, such as the lasers on many handheld IR thermometers. However, most of the lasers I have seen on IR thermomenters are red, not green. Could it be someone goofing around with a laser pointer? The slow shutter speeds could account for the "misty" quality of the laser light. There seems to be chromatic abberation (the prism effect) in the image entitled "Davesbutt.jpg". This definately looks like a green laser reflecting off his jacket, and the chromatic abberation could be attributed to the coatings on the camera len. (Telescope lenses that are not 'apochromatic' are prone to such color abberations, and so are camera lenses). Were these images taken during the same investigation where someone tampered with the Hi-8 IR video camera set up in the bedroom (faked pulling down the covers)?

Just looking for an obvious explanation...

Wow thanks for sharing..  It could be a reflection or something paranormal....are you guys going back there to investigate. Hey there is Jason and Grant they are so cool.

The photos of the green lights along the balcony area are reflections of one of those green "Exit" signs. They added those to the first class pool room when they made that lame ghost special effects show. That whole room is full of show lighting and special effects equipment and high voltage equipment because of this show.

Donna

I know I wasn't with you all, but I have to say that I think all the ones in the pool area had to be reflections of some sort be they on the tiles themselves or something in the lens. The other ones that are on people I'd have to say are something with the camera, and the one that is on the back of the PPI jacket (is that the Davesbutt photo?) is a laser pointer. I don't know ANY of the technical stuff you all are talking about, but that's what all of it looks like to me. . . you know, the one who's never investigated professionally before. :P

Awww...totally forgot about these shots. Britt has since remedied the problem with his camera. It was a techinical malfunction of sorts.

bellalaghoste

that is weird I have seen other photos here at this location with the same green light near the pool... but you guys caught it in many locations
