A Seattle resident recently captured an anomaly with her new digital camera that is gaining quite a bit of attention lately. Here's a link to the story:

Is it ground fog or something truly paranormal? I would like to hear your thoughts.

Ok, now I know I'm truly catholic. . . .I see the Holy Mother.. . . . . . . . I also think it's a bunch of malarky! It's too easy to capture this sort of thing with smoke and rapid photography. I never buy into these types of photos, sorry.

It is interesting to say the least.  I do question digital photography sometimes.  It's really easy to pop your memory card into your comp, photoshop a few things, save it back to the card and pop it back into your camera.  I'm not saying this picture isn't real, I'm just skeptical.

Hi Kristen,

Good point. Once upon a time, people used to say "the camera doesn't lie". Funny how people don't say that anymore.  :) It's pretty easy to fake potentially paranormal photos, but these fakes always leave tell-tale clues. The trick is to carefully examine an image and look for blatant fakery. Photoshop has some excellent features that can help you find the fakes.

Thanks for posting your thoughts.
