it is a bug without doubt...a spider most likely. The clip you are watching is NOT 30 frames per second so that is what gives it that illusion of just "snapping" to it's next position...the frames are most likely displayed at 20 frames per second.

You have to laugh, otherwise it would be too depressing to know people think like this as a matter of routine.  Do people not at first wonder why the lens looks as crappy as it does?  Seriously, this is why elections can be stolen for a second time right under our noses and no one makes any noise:  if the news cameras were poking through the entrails of Osama Bin Laden to get the shot, people would still notice only Satan's face in the rising plumes of distant smoke.
