Hello, Never looked at sites like this before but took some photos from my new digital camera (olympus fe-210) and weird light where on the photos. This happened a couple of times in the kitchen of my house and out the frount. It lasted only an hour or so but i cannot explain them.Wondering if anyone could or have an idea about them. I have a couple of more photos if u would like to see them.

Thanks

PPI Karl

Thanks for posting these.  I'm not one hundred percent sure about the first one, but there's some image displacement on the microwave[?] behind her, which makes me think that the anomaly coming out of her head is a camera artifact.  The second photo is, without a doubt, insects pzzzing and fwshing about.   :)
If you want to end your misery, start enjoying it, because there's nothing the universe begrudges more than our enjoyment.

Whenever you get a new digital camera you have to adjust the shutter speed, because that shutter stays open way to long. That is the reason the bugs look the way they do. Try taking pictures again in the same spots with the adjusted shutter speed, and I think you'll find your pictures come out a lot different.

Picture #1 (the one with the young woman in it) really looks like a peice of hair got infront of the lense as the shot was being taken...also there is some "light drag" going on as you can see with the Microwave...this just means that the camera was shifted as the shutter was open...so as the light is imprinting on the "film" or "chip" it is also being dragged, resulting in that smudged look.

Picture #2 can easily be blamed on a bug. You can tell by the "dashed" look of that light...it's broken up...that's the motion of the wings. The eratic trajectory is also a dead giveaway.

Boy, I was going to comment on the photos also but it looks like everyone beat me to it!
