I found this opinion piece in The New York Times to be very interesting. The article is a response to a new report that concludes that ghosts are nothing more than "bodily delusions" (Perhaps we should use that definition for our code book, eh?) However, it does a fair attempt at outlining the history of science's involvement in the paranormal. My favorite part of article is towards the end when the author Deborah Blum writes, "I suspect that we'll dwell forever in the hauanted landscape of our beliefs" (Blum).

I believe it is worthwhile to check out the author's book, "Ghost Hunters: William James and the Scientific Search for Life After Death"
