I have been involved in this field of study for longer than I care to admit, and I take great pleasure when I see some of the people who have made significant contributions to our field get some long overdue applause. I hope to see more of these pioneers honored for their hard work and dedication in the near future.

Yeah, I was hoping people would stop and read this little thread, then do a little more research. The story of Max Dessior is very intriguing. Wouldn't it have been great to spend some time browsing through his library before it was destroyed in World War II? He probably wrote some very compelling paranormal case studies that are now lost forever.
