Saw this in the LA Times and thought it was worth sharing with our PPI forum family:

The Middle East kingdom has recently cracked down on reputed "sorcers" in a drive to rid the rigidly Muslim country of their influence. The recent arrest of popular television psychic Ali Sibat of Lebanon is a case in point. But Sibat isn't the only person arrested for similar reasons during the push to "battle vice and uphold virtue". Other arrest reports are included in this article, and the New York-based Human Rights Watch group is calling on the Saudi government to set aside the convictions and rethink its rush to judgment.
