I ran across this on the web and thought it was worthy of discussion on the PPI forums:

Thoughts anyone?

Brian,

Very interesting photos. I'd be very interested in testing out the "First Generation Nigh[t] Vision monocular scope and a digital camera combined on a stationary tripod" that was used to obtain the images they got.

Very cool location and background story. Exactly the kind of investigation I want us to get our hands (or cameras) on.

Hi Jason,

I would really like to develop a list of experiments for us to try in the field. Perhaps we should start a new thread on this topic?

I agree. But knowing you and I, we will probably end up having to make a thread for each type of experiment. We should also get together at some point and come up with an idea on how to conduct the experiments and present them on the website (format, how much detail, etc...).

Obviously we would use the thread for our behind the scene ideas and brainstorming. But we will obviously have to get together to actually do the experiments. So far these are the experiments I was thinking of:

Orb project
-filiming and photographing different objects under different lighting conditions to try and create a comprehensive set of elimination samples.

KII Calibration
-Determine the effect of RF on the KII, distances, different frequencies, etc...

Monster Experiment
-Have Jason drink various types of energy drinks and determine which drinks cause the most amount of digestive bacterial enzyme production. This experiment can then be replicated with various types of beer. Actually, let's just skip the energy drinks and experiment with beer.

Just some ideas.

LOL! For the last experiment all you have o do is drink the sediment at the bottom of a bottle of my home brewed beer. The dormant yeast will get you in the end. Literally.  ;D
