Kepler Telescope, Now Planet-Hunting

After two months of calibrating the telescope, as of today, May 13, 2009, Kepler is doing what it was born to do:  find Earth-like planets!  I confess, I am very excited about what I hope it will discover during the next couple of years just by staring into space.  (I did that once, for two years, back in high school, but what did I ever get out of it? ;D)

If you want to end your misery, start enjoying it, because there's nothing the universe begrudges more than our enjoyment.
