I found this link today that could be quite helpful.  It is updated every evening.  Just put in your zip code and it will tell you the Lowest and Highest gasoline prices in your immediate and surrounding area.  Also includes maps.

Isn't mind blowing that we actually think $3.00 a gallon is cheap gas?   :-\

I'm working on a personal project here and I'm finding during the oil boom in the 1800s to 1900s, it was 40 cents a barrel because there was not enough demand for oil and gas.  What happened?!?!  ???

I save about 40 cents a gallon filling up on base.

I had to fill up yesterday (a Taurus) and it was almost $80.00!!!!  I had just been w. a jail client so I figured I'd fill it up downtown while I was there before heading out to the Valley and regular was $4.77!!!    :o

Wow, that makes me feel a little better. I paid $4.49 per gallon last night, and the station right across the street was charging $4.69 for regular.  :P

Costco was where I filled up.  $4.44.   Not bad, considering the CRIMINALS down at the Shell station right around the corner from me are charging $4.99!!!

This is true.  I think I burn any savings I get at the pump waiting in line.  I do know that some Vons stores have gas stations.  You can save money if you happen to grocery shop the same day I think (not sure, haven't tried).
