Came across this story about a helicopter pilot in Florida who picked up a Turkey Buzzard!  Both Turkey Buzzard, Pilot and helicopter made it back to the airport safely.  Check it out!

With all the noise of the helicopter and the rotor-wash, that bird must have really wanted to hitch a ride.  I just flew to the Super Bowl, and boy are my wings tired!  LOL!   :D

Buzzards have an extremely important role in many Native American folkloric traditions.  When Nature drops a sacred animal in your lap, it's either a blessing or an omen, right?  (Anyone else recall the thing about the Sybil's prophecy about Claudius catching the wounded wolf cub that fell out of the eagles' talons overhead?)

It's an omen, I tells ya!  An ooooomen!
