I wonder if they will discover a big old ring around Uranus? P^/
Sounds interesting...Go on.

PPI Karl

Read about it on Space.com this mornin'.  Love it!!!   And, finally, the mystery of black-and-white Iapetus, solved!!!  (Or, Japhetus, if you're classicist.  ;D

Absolutely incredible. It's like a miniature model of our solar system, isn't it? Complete with it's own asteroid belt (main rings) and Kuiper belt (newly discovered ring). Every time NASA launches a new telescope or a new probe we learn something amazing.  ;D

You just couldn't resist, could ya Timmy?

PPI Tim

NOPE!
It is interesting that they now can record rings that far out from Saturn.
Could Jupiter have a ring as well?
Sounds interesting...Go on.

Tim,

It's important for you to understand a few things. Firstly, Uranus is huge. I mean really big. While it wouldn't be very hard to hit Uranus with a probe, because of the immense size of Uranus a probe could easily get lost there. Now I've seen Uranus before. I try to look at Uranus almost every night. It is difficult to see sometimes, but Uranus also reflects sunlight very well which helps. Now many people have told me that Uranus is full of gas. I personally never understood how Uranus could hold so much gas without blowing up. I'm not sure if Uranus is flammable, but I wouldn't be surprised considering how much gas that puppy spins around. My kids have asked me about Uranus. I tell them that other people know so much about Uranus that they've written books. My boys love reading books about Uranus. My youngest thinks that people live on Uranus. I told them that they would die from all the gas in Uranus.

I hope this helps Tim.
Probably the earliest flyswatters were nothing more than some sort of striking surface attached to the end of a long stick.

Tim, I was shocked to know how much Jason knew about Uranus!  I google imaged Uranus.  There are almost 1 Million photos of Uranus.  I hope Jason can share more intersting facts about with us about Uranus.  I can't go on.... well I could but.... it's too much......   :P

An idea, like a ghost, must be spoken to a little before it will explain itself!

PPI Karl

Uranus?  Don't even get me started on the "gas giants"!  :P
