I really enjoyed the webisode "Face Of the Enemy," for the obvious reasons and the not-so-obvious.  Now, the real test is whether or not Gaeta and Lt. Hoshi maintain their relationship on TV, or if they'll chicken out  at the last second and replace the actor playing Hoshi with Star Trek: Enterprise's Linda Park.  We'll see.

I think you have that turned around Karl.
Grace Park plays the 8's
Sounds interesting...Go on.

PPI Karl

Well, I guess that joke landed on its ass.   :'(  I was referring to Linda Park from Enterprise, who plays Ensign Hoshi Sato.  I forgot there was another actress named "Park" in BSG.  Hey!  Maybe Linda Park will be the final Cylon model, and she'll play Grace Park's long lost sister?  Or, maybe the final Cylon will be Jerri Ryan, Voyager's Seven-of-Nine.  Wouldn't that be the ultimate non sequitur?

Someone pull the plug on me. I'm blathering now.

Hey Karl,

That medication you took, it didn't happen to have a "red pill" in it? It seems to me you're seeing the matrix code. Please don't go too far down the rabbit hole   :D

I still think BSG if my favorite television show ever. I can't wait for the final 10.
Probably the earliest flyswatters were nothing more than some sort of striking surface attached to the end of a long stick.

Wow. I hope Miller taped it. I thought the episode was a doozy.

I set the timer on my DVD before I went to Huntington Beach, and when I returned I was really looking forward to watching it. Unfortunately, it did not record, and the episode re-aired at 12 am and 9am on Saturday the 17th, so I missed all three opportunities to record it.  :'(

Fear not.  The episode is available on-line at SciFi.comhttp://www.scifi.com/rewind/?sid=32850

There's also a version of the episode enhanced with commentary.

Caught the episode then watched it again on HULU, it was a good episode, some things come together while other things fall apart, won't say anything else if you haven't watched it yet.

www.hulu.com has the latest episode. It seems they have the episodes available the day after they air regularly.

I was hoping to watch it on my lunch break, but alas! I've been battling Trojans all day, and didn't even get to have lunch!  :'( Oh well, there's always tomorrow...

All right, Katie Scarlett O'Hara Hamilton Kennedy Butler! ;D  Tomorrow came and went.  Did you get to watch the episode at last?

I did, and I was totally blown away. This episode really packed a punch.  I'm not buying the "revea"" of the fifth Cylon just yet. We'll see how it develops over the next few episodes. I'm curious to see how they explain the scene with Katee Sackhoff and the body in the Viper wreckage on "Earth". How did Kara Thrace's dog tags wind up on the decomposed body? And WTF is up with Laura Roslin? We're supposed to believe that ol' Stands With A Fist is going to throw in the towel?

I look forward to the upcoming episodes.  :)

Didn't Hoshi Sato have a pet bananna slug?  :)

I guess Gaeta's love interest is a moot point now.  Way to go, BSG, for chickening out in your last season and making gay people invisible even in humanity's distant future.

Sometimes I feel like like I'm living back in 1979.

I have to admit that I was completely thrown for a loop by the latest plot twists. Does this mean you have finally caught up on the latest BSG episodes?

Found this clip on Hulu and thought it was worth sharing:

I really enjoyed this series and hated to see it come to an end. Looking forward to "The Plan" this fall.  :)

That was awesome Brian. I always love seeing the behind the music type things. It really gives you a deep look at the different instruments they used to create that fantastic soundtrack.

I believe Brian J has seen it, but he's kept pretty quiet about its content.  What the heck happened to Caprica, anyway?  It was supposed to be broadcast in January 2009.  Why did they withdraw it and reschedule it for this fall?  I was really looking forward to it.

I'm starting to feel withdrawal from the series, actually.  I had a dream two nights ago with several of the characters.  (I know.  I'm a freak.  P^/)

Yeah Karl, I've noticed you sometimes have that blank stare as if Number 6 is talking to you and telling you to lead a rebel revolt against the man.

But I can't judge. That's way better than the dreams I have. I always dream that Louie De Palma from Taxi is yelling at me but his voice is actually that guy from the end of Pink Floyds' "The Wall" and he tells me, "HOW CAN YOU HAVE YOUR PUDDING IF YOU HAVEN'T EATEN YOUR MEAT!!" and then Latka comes out and that's when it starts to get weird. You guys have dreams like that, right? :D

Wow, I really miss this show. I remember this scene and thought the way they mixed high-tech science fiction with ancient occult practices was extremely well done:
