The dominant ghost is called the dark lady and is reputed to be the hacienda's original owner.
Her name was Teodora Olivas and she was murdered by thieves in 1855. The ghost has been seen in the kitchen, the living room and on the balcony. Admission to the Adobe is free and they are open daily to the public.
