Because PPI is a TAPS Family member, some clients mistake us for the television show. In hopes that we avoid any misunderstandings, we kindly ask that you please take some time to read the following statement about our services.
Pacific Paranormal Investigations is honored to be an authorized TAPS Family Member. In fulfillment of our membership responsibilities, The Atlantic Paranormal Society occasionally refers to us those investigation requests that fall within our service area. However, under no circumstances should TAPS investigators or representatives of the Ghost Hunters programs be expected to attend these investigations, nor will PPI make arrangements for their involvement. Furthermore, investigations should not be requested except out of serious necessity. PPI is an entirely volunteer organization: our members are dedicated to assisting individuals in need of answers and evidence. In many cases, we take time from our jobs to travel hundreds of miles at our own expense to answer the call of people in distress. If at any time the motives behind an investigation request become suspicious, we will either delay the investigation until proper assurances of serious intent can be obtained, or cancel the investigation request altogether. Upon our arrival, if the clients are engaged in distracting recreational activities, or are using drugs or alcohol, we will cancel the investigation immediately, designate the case "unserviceable," and will not reschedule. |
