This was a military (specifically Air Force) project done to investigate the existance of aliens or life on other planets. When the repot was released to the public most of the report was blacked out. What is the government keeping from us in this report.

Project blue book is pretty cool....but how about the "Manhattan Project"?

The Manhattan Project was the project that created the "little boy" other wise known as the atomic bomb. Project Blue Book is something completly different.

That's right...I was getting my "states" mixed up...what I meant was how about the Philadelphia Experiment.

Ah, now you've got something. The Philidelphia Project was a supposed project to see if the government could teleport a ship and its entire crew from one place to another. I forget what kind of energy they used to do it with but it went horribly wrong. sailors warped into the decks and bulkheads. Some sailors disappeared and never reapeared. Some people think alien technology might have been involved. But, I don't know. The government never tried to do the expeirment again or so they say. They ended up selling the ship to the Greek navy and it is still in service today. The History Channel did a special on this topic if you want all the details.

The Philadelphia Experiment was also known as Project Rainbow and was conducted on or before October 28, 1943.
The experiment was allegedly conducted by one Dr. Franklin Reno (or Rinehart) as a military application of Albert Einstein's unified field theory, or "generalized theory of gravitation". The theory, briefly, postulates the interrelatedness of the forces that comprise electromagnetic radiation and gravity.
The experiment was continued under the name Montauk Project. The Montauk Project took place at Camp Hero (AKA Fort Hero or the Montauk Air Force Base), which was a military base at Montauk Point on the eastern tip of Long Island, New York and was decommissioned in the 1980's.

This topic really struck my interest. I have been researching the Philidelphia Experiment since yesterday. Very cool.

Yeah, when I first heard about it I could have sworn that Nikola Tesla's theories were used for the experiment. He's another cool scientist / research that deals with "free energy".

The project went on longer than was known to the 'public'. The equipment that was used was supposedly taken by some of the researchers that were not suppose to 'talk' to the public about their experiences and continued their studies. At this time the Government was also conducting experments on Astral Projection. They were trying to incorporate the two together in some way. Figured that if the soul could be warped out of the body, than they would be able to apply that same reason to warping 'material' from one place to another. They knew that what we think is solid is actually just particles. We and everything we know is made of particles. Not solid matter. Thats why people report seeing spirits walk through closed doors and walls. They, being solid energy, can walk through us and the matter in the earth plane. Wow! I think I got off the subject a bit. Sorry.
Anyway, I always felt sorry for those poor dudes that were trapped in the bulkheads and stuff. And there was a woman also that was trapped in the metal. Weird to think that their body parts manifested 'in' the metal of the ship. Funny thing was also, was that the ship and other objects they used, always reappeared miles away from where they started.
Will, enough of my two cents worth.
lol

Top 10 things the government does not want you to know about aliens:
#10:  Most of the aliens are from Mexico.
#9:    The underground economy they create bolsters the recognized economy.
#8:    They are working on how to get taxes out of them.
#7:    A good lot of them are registered voters
#6:    The ones from AC1132,8743 look just like housecats
#5:    Back in 1973 there was very nearly an interpanetary war when an ambassador from another galaxy landed at a California dairy farm and was milked.
#4:    There is an entire comunity of them in Grass Valley California
#3:    A whole bunch of them have "farms" in Idaho
#2:    Corn, wheat, and catnip are narcotics on their planet, but are difficult to grow back back where they come from with the methane storms and all.

And the # 1 thing the government does not want you to know about aliens is:

the percentage of your income they spend to cover up what they don't know about aliens.

I apologise if my attempt at humor is insulting. I really don't mean to be. It's just that the only answers to that question I can think of are humorous in nature.

Renae...You forgot to mention that my ex was left by the aliens in 1951 (they made it look as if he was accidentally left behind, but I know better)...lol.
Sorry...just had to throw that one in there.

You don't sopose he might be related to my ex, -whose family lives in Grass Valley?

So MANY really great snide remarks about my ex - so little time!

France's version of Project Blue Book was just made available for public inspection, with actual evidence posted to its official Space Agency website and requests from the scientific community for assistance in solving the vast majority of the unsolved cases.

A brief but interesting article about it was publishing on Space.com, with links to CNES's website.  Teleport--don't walk--to Space.com, for more info.
If you want to end your misery, start enjoying it, because there's nothing the universe begrudges more than our enjoyment.

Thanks Karl, I know some of our Canadian friends are not able to get through on the link France provided.
I will pass this along. Have a great day everyone.
