If you're looking for something intoxicating to explore, I highly recommend the amazing Billion-Pixel View From Curiosity at Rocknest (http://mars.nasa.gov/bp1/).  The image is a mosaic of 900 rover photos of Gale Crater, taken with Curiosity's 17 cameras.  The resolution is so good, it's "practically a virtual" Mar's-walk; however, you need Silverlight or a comparable plug-in for your browser.

BTW, "practically virtual" is my usage lesson for Thursday, in case you were planning to "interrogize" me about it. (Don't you hate English teachers on summer break. :P)
If you want to end your misery, start enjoying it, because there's nothing the universe begrudges more than our enjoyment.
