The Glarfs of Bonita

For those of you who grew up in the South Bay area of San Diego, you may recall seeing the dinosaur sculptures created by a young artist named Jerry Gauss. When I was a kid I used to see them displayed in the front yard of the Gauss family home on the corner of Valley Road and Sweetwater Road. Sadly, the artist was killed in a motorcycle accident in 1963 at the age of 19. Here's some articles about Jerry and his Glarfs:
