I just heard about him winning his 8th gold medal. It makes you proud to be an American.

You're right, it's so good to be an American and that our country can produce such an amazing young man.  He broke seven world records.  I've watched him and cheered him on.  I'm so proud of him as if he were my own son.  I guess you could call him "America's Son" now.  It shows us what you can do when you put your mind to it and never give up.  God bless Michael Phelps and God bless America!
What about Dara Torres the 41 year old swimmer?  She has won two silver medals.  She beat 20 year olds.

I saw something on the way he is shaped or his body structure is perfect for swimming.  Kind of like a dolphin.
