Title: New England Colonial - Desireable Neighborhood - Back on the Market
Post by: PPI Brian on October 04, 2012, 12:50:01 PM
A quaint New England colonial home in a desireable neighborhood in New Jersey is back on the market. Only problem: #1: it was the scene of a mass murder and #2: It might be haunted.

Hans Holzer investigated the place and declared it a hoax.

This house is not the original DeFeo home -- it was a double used for exterior shots in the first movie. The original DeFeo home is located in Long Island.  :)

If that is the case, then where did the murders happen?  That house in Amityville or the one on Long Island?  Corn-fused.  :-\

The house in Ammityville was the scene of the DeFeo murders, on November 13, 1974. Although the murders did in fact take place there, credible investigators determined the Lutz family had greatly exagerated the activity in the house, if indeed there ever was any activity in the house. I don't believe Ronald DeFeo ever said that "evil spirits" told him to kill his family.
