The wet dog shake: Physics Revealed
We've all been sprayed by a shaking soaked pooch. Now their technique could be applied to washing machines.  

It says that some smaller creatures can generate up to 20 G's to accomplish this task.  Pretty cool.

That's a cool story.
I wonder how much it cost to study the wet dog shake???

That's a great article, Gary. Thanks for sharing that. I find it amazing how little we know about things we take for granted -- such as the subject of this article. The world is full of wonder, and revisiting subjects we think we know so much about always brings about a new revelation. ;D
