I found this clip on YouTube and felt compelled to share it with our PPI forum family. It's a music video featuring two of the greatest astrophysicists of our time -- Carl Sagan and Steven Hawking. It is an awesome compostion that highlight video clips from Cosmos and Into the Universe. And it has a message, too. :)

Found another video featuring Carl Sagan called "We Are All Connected" and thought I would share it with everyone. :)

I find this video incredibly moving. Especially Sagan's remark -- "The cosmos is also with us. We are made of star stuff. We are a way for the cosmos to know itself."
Incredibly moving, to say the least. Wow. Just.....wow.
This is an incredibly Buddhist concept of interbeing.
"The beauty of a living thing is not the atoms that go into it.
But the way those atoms are put together.
The cosmos is also within us. We're made of star stuff.
We are a way for the cosmos to know itself."
-- Karl Sagan
"We're all connected. To each other -- biologically. To lthe Earth -- chemically. To the rest of the universe -- atomically."
"I know that the molecules in my body are traceable to phenomena in the cosmos. That makes me want to grab people in the street and say: 'Have you heard this?'"
-- Neil deGrasse Tyson
I often admire the night sky and meditate on the fact that we are all made of the same interstellar dust that formed the stars. We are all interconnected; a continuation of one another and of the universe itself. As Carl Sagan said, we are a way for the universe to know itself. I find that incredibly humbling.
