Title: The Price of Losing
Post by: PPI Tim on September 30, 2009, 11:54:12 PM
From the Book of 666 true stories...

One of the most popular attractions in New York's Chinatown is the chicken that plays tictacktoe. For $5, anyone can step up to the stall and play against the smartest piece of poultry in Manhattan. The astonishing thing about this attraction( aside from the fact that you are playing against a chicken) is that the bird almost never loses. The chicken has a powerful incentive to win and somehow know her situation is precarious: If the human player loses, he or she is out $5, but if the chicken loses, she becomes that night's dinner.
