That is extremely weird. I just have one thing to say, there can only be one Highlander.

Don't lose your head now.
Brooke is confusing. In some of the photos, she looks like she suffers from that rare variety of dwarfism that makes all the body parts proportionately correct. (There's clearly some sort of minor deformation in the face.) But doctors claim she's not aging. I hope she's being well taken care of and respected by the science community, regardless of what's going on with her. With phrases like "Fountain of Youth" being bandied about, people could become very scrappy, very quickly.
Interesting case, though.
From a mother's perspective, having a child is a blessing, but never having that child grown up so you can converse with each other on a level past 9 months old, is heartbreaking. Never being able to have that child experience the normal things that growing children do, would definitley put a strain on you as a parent and somewhat redefine (in this instance) your parental role. It doesn't change in regards to that child. The relationship and care remain the same. Hopefully someday, scientists will unlock the mystery.
Strange story.
Never age...
I would like to know what she is like in another 20 years.
amazing story and unconditional acceptance by the mother is touching. It sort of reminds me of a bad movie, the Curious Case of Benjamin Button, the fellow who ages backwards.
