Title: Did Pub Owner Capture a Full Body Apparition on Video?
Post by: PPI Brian on January 09, 2009, 08:17:16 PM
The man who who runs The Victoria pub at Lostock Hall claims he came face-to-face with a spooky sight that appeared to have the face of a Victorian woman with long, curly hair and wearing a V-neck dress. The ghost appears on a video taken during a ghost hunt on Christmas night. Check out the still photo and the video by clicking the link:

Well, if you can believe what you see in a video of a closeup of a monitor playing back an alleged paranormal event, I guess it's interesting.  It partially phases in an out, which is one of the hallmarks of other full-body apparitions witnessed.  However, I'm a little suspicious of that bright light in the middle of it.  What could that be?  This was captured in IR, right?

could be a ceiling light fixture or overexposure as the IR illuminator moved to a new surface.

I don't think it a ghost.

Yeah, this looks pretty cool. But, aside from any technical analysis of light or camera related phenomenon, I just have a hard time buying that a ghost looks so obvious. In my experience with the paranormal it just seems like ghosts don't make themselves THAT obvious. But then again, my experience is pretty limited. I guess I'll have to wait another 10 years or so before I can really start using the phrase "based on my paranormal investigative experience...."  ;)
