Sorry, that was a classic movie. I think this would be pretty nasty. I drove behind a car that had been converted to using grease for fuel and it smelled like french fries. I felt greasy just driving behind it. What would one of these cars smell like? Plus, I got over my problem with acne just after high school. I don't want to have to revist that part of my life following around all these deep fat fryers on wheels :P
Now nuclear fusion powered Deloreans that use trash as fuel for the flux capacitor allowing us to travel through time? Now that would be cool. But that's another movie.

This is probably off topic, but fat as fuel reminds me of tales of spontaneous combustion. No not the kind that fat can fuel in an engine. If I recall many cases of spontaneous combustion involves a human fat as fuel. I think they also mentioned blood alcohol content could have been a factor in some cases... it seems feasible to use animal fat for fuels. The exhaust from that truck next to you driving may smell like bacon!
