I was wondering about something.
Can a perfect note like one that is created by a tuning fork or well tuned musical instrument
affect paranormal activity in a room?

Well, I've played with some grossly untested ideas of my own about sound potentially being harnessed (or piggybacked) to create EVPs and AVPs. I don't know whether true pitches are absolutely necessary, but I have this feeling that a steady and constant medium of sound waves is important to the phenomenon. I don't necessarily mean that EVPs can't happen without some other generative sound, but the clearest and longest EVPs I've ever captured were preceded by loud, loud non-paranormal noises somewhere in the vicinity.
I'm intrigued, though, about the added ingredient of tone or music. What theories about tuning forks and perfect pitch have you been studying, Tim? I'd really love to hear about it further.

The thought came to me when I was listening to something that Brian M was playing in his car.
It was a Buddhist tape and after this person on the tape would finish speaking there would be this clear pure note.
The note held the pitch for a long time and it seem to fill the car with a nice sound.
It left me wondering if a sustained note generated in a room that had claims of paranormal activity could encourage a EVP or something else?

That's interesting you bring this up - have you read something about this before? I only mention it because there are also many people which believe you need white noise in order to capture EVPs, which is pretty much the opposite of a pure tone.
