Brian M sets up his house nicely for Halloween. Since you seem to enjoy Halloween as well, how decked out is your house?
this years theme nightmare before christmas decor. They are having a sale on disney.com.
Nice. Is there anyone else out there how decorates thier house up for Halloween?
Well I always decroate with the basics. But years ago it used to be that every year, a bunch of us would get together, get ready, and set up on Holloween Day for Halloween night with a freaky theme. But, I dont do the scary stuff anymore. I have a lil one so I had to ease up on that. We do fun themes now. =)
The last time we did *scary*, we went with a psycho carnival theme. My brother in-laws idea. I hated it, but it turned out great. lol.
Anyway, we set up on the grass on one side of the walkway a Carni looking tent with a feaky scene inside that glowed.
The grass on the other side we had mannequins dressed as psycho Neon clowns with everyone else dressed up as psycho neon clowns as well to match... and they were equipped with noise makers and such.
( they all looked like a neon variation of that clown from the movie "It",,, O_o )
They stood and sat mixed with the fake clowns and noisily jumped out at people when they came up the walk way to get the candy from me . Well, some walked around to distract*.
It was great when people came up just to look at the clowns and do the, " Is this one real ??? I dare you to touch its arm !" and they'd jump back screaming when they got rattled at or whatever.
We had the fog machines going ,and black lights so all the clowns would glow, strobe lights, crazy music, circus decor, glow in the dark drawings on side walk,... it was awesome.
Oh, i was the zombie Ring leader, giving out the candy if you wondered. >_< No clown costume for me thank you very much!
Other years were vampire theme, a butcher shop theme, mad scientist lab, and others,,,, So fun. =)
Those sound like pretty cool displays. I would love to see them
yeah, was a blast.
I'll have to see if anyone has pictures still.
This year, we're thinking of doing a cute little ghost town/cow boy theme for the kids. =)
love halloween I just can not wait.
I have always wanted to do a haunted house of horrors, but nobody in my family ever wanted to do it with me. :'( Maybe when i have my own place I will be able to do it.
i agree need my own place too.

Woes is us! Woes is us! :-X The holiday season is upon us, but it really isn't yet... but the marketing is making me believe! Don't let the kids see yet!
How neat, a X-mas baby. My sister's is on New Years Day. I always wondered about those mothers who have babies on exceptional holidays... many double celebrations to come but at least they are easy to remember. :)

It's only fitting that she was born on Christmas Day. My daughter was born with cancer. She had a tumor the size of her head. She wasn't supposed to even survive until birth. According to the doctor's, she could have easily died in the womb. Had I gone the full 40 weeks, her heart would have given out due to the strain the tumor was putting on it. Taylor is our miracle baby. She is truly the best gift we could have ever asked for. So do I mind her birthday being on Christmas? No way. It is my favorite holiday and because of her birthday, it is truly the most joyous day of the year for me.
By the way, she is now 8 and cancer free. :)
