Not sure how I missed this on the main website >:( but I just found out about the Ghost Rush event at the end of the month. I know many (if not all) PPI people are going. I was just curious if you all were flying up or driving. On this short notice, I can swing the ticket and hotel and such, but not sure if I can sell my wife on a plane ticket as well. I would gladly chip in for gas though.

I just mapped out the directions coming from San Diego, it's about an 8-9 hour drive. I would prefer not to drive my pickup (not much room,) but I will if I need too. I would be happy to take turns driving and chip in for gas if people do want to carpool. Plane tickets on this short notice are about $300 from San Diego. I would be cool with that normally, but not on this short notice, my wife will kill me.
Not sure how to convince people I'm not some freak and that I'm safe to drive with.
Peggy, are you still interested in going? I'm going one way or the other, I just don't feel like driving alone. Heck, with the price of gas, it would almost be cheaper to fly if I'm going solo. If your still looking for more info here is the link.

I'm flexible for driving times, I'll leave Thursday / Friday and come back on Sun / Mon. If needed we can take my truck, but it may be kind of cramped for a long drive.
