Just finished watching it, wasn't anything special, until I got to the end and they said it was based on a true story and the croc still hunts that river. I was like yea right.... Then I googled it and sure enough a National Geographic article.

Of course the movie is exagerated and such, it is a movie after all, but a lot of it is based on facts. I know this isn't anything really paranormal or anything, I just thought it was interesting that a Horror movie was actually based on a real creature that still lives and hunts today.
Apparently he has an affinity for human flesh. Or maybe the people were just easy targets.
Either way, I'm sure he was hungry. ;)

The Exorcist and The Exorcism of Emily Rose are based on true stories...I don't know if you'd consider them horror though.
