Read the following article and look at the photos in question.  What is your opinion and explanation of how the photos are in fact real....or not.

Thanks for posting this.

The Russians have also maintained that we faked the whole thing, pointing out that our failure to return to the moon in forty years is not so much an issue of money and interest as it is capability, and that had it actually been possible, both the Russians and the U.S.-ers would have done so again and again in that time.  (Max, by the way, is among the skeptics who believes they faked the moon landing.)  Perhaps not so coincidentally, pictures have been released purporting to show the moon lander:  http://www.space.com/news/090717-lro-apollo11-images.html.  But even greater suspicion is aroused by NASA's admission that the original moonwalk tapes had been erased and reused years ago, but that they are planning to "restore" them from 1969 live broadcast video:  http://www.space.com/news/cs-90716-apollo11-moonwalk-video.html

I'm on the fence.  I've actually spoken to a retired aerospace engineer involved in the Apollo missions who takes huge umbrage at the claims it was faked.  I can't say it would shock me if it were, but it would bum me out a little. To this day, though, one of my fondest childhood memories was of my father standing in line with me for what seemed like hours (probably not, though) at the Milwaukee Public Museum to catch a brief glimpse of one of the moon rocks.

I personally don't even have the time nor the desire to start on this issue.

I think it is completely ABSOLUTELY and ENTIRELY insulting that people think that the brave men like Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin et al. are liars. When Aldrin punched that Asshole in the face for calling him a liar it was completely appropriate (and incidentally totally in keeping with someone who is telling the truth).

To argue contrary is riduculous. The above website say it all. Absolutely ridiculous.
Probably the earliest flyswatters were nothing more than some sort of striking surface attached to the end of a long stick.

There was a episode of Mythbusters that all on the moon landings.
They took many if not all the claims and busted them. I thought the most compelling one they busted was the one about the shadows on the moon.  The idea was that because it was staged the shadows were cast in different directions from Multiple light sources. The mythbusters were able to recreate those same shadow angles using ONE light source. The astronauts only had one light source...The Sun.
As far as reason why we have not gone back, I think our government representatives are too stupid to realize that if we are to have a future on this planet,
we must have a future in space.

And if anyone doesn't think they walked on the moon....talk to Buzz.
He'll let you know what he thinks....Watch

Sounds interesting...Go on.

And here's that restoration of the moon landing from live broadcast video, with Buzz Aldrin's commentary:

This afternoon I also watched an excellent examination of the conspiracy claims on an episode of the National Geographic program Is It Real?  Well worth it, if you can track it down to watch it.
