PPI Tim sent me this article from Snopes.com today with a YouTube video of Dophins creating bubble rings under water and then playing with them. Very cool, and worthy of sharing with our PPI family members: http://www.snopes.com/photos/animals/dolphinrings.asp

Does this behavior prove that bottlenose dolphins have the ability to think critically?

Here's an article that appeared in the Journal of Comparative Psychology on the subject: http://faculty.vetmed.ucdavis.edu/faculty/bjmccowan/Pubs/McCowanetal.JCP.2000.pdf

I would love to think that they can think critically.  If anything they sure can come up with neat toys.
